Dr. Vinod K. Anand, MD, F.A.C.S. specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of medical and surgical disorders of Ear, Nose, and Throat. He began his medical career in New Delhi and graduated from medical school in 1976. This was followed by two years of general surgery training in New York City. Subsequently, Dr. Anand completed otolaryngology head and neck residency training at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital in Manhattan, New York in 1981. Subspecialty fellowship training in Head & Neck & Microvascular Surgery (fellowship) was completed in the following year in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After completing the above training, Dr. Anand joined the teaching staff of the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1982. He advanced to the rank of Professor & Chief of the Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery program where he remained until June, 2001 when he started his own practice. Dr. Anand is a member of numerous medical organizations and he has held important leadership roles. He has authored over 60 publications and book chapters. Dr. Anand limits his practice to ear, nose, and throat and his particular interest include restoration of the function and aesthetics of the nose. |
